ACER, COPAL, and Pueblos are hosting a Driver's License Community Session to inform and hear back from the local community concerning the DL4All bill being passed in March 2023.

About the event
ACER would like to formally invite you to a Driver's License Community Session that is collectively hosted by ACER, COPAL, and Pueblos de Lucha y Esperanza. The event will take place at the Brooklyn Park Library in the Mississippi River Room from 6:30pm - 8pm on Tuesday, June 6th.
Volunteers from the Immigrant Law Center of MN (ILCM) will give a 'Know Your Rights' presentation and speak more on the Driver's License for All bill passing and how it affects the community, particularly undocumented Minnesotans who will now have access to obtain a driver's license. The community will also have the opportunity to ask questions on the process and requirements with the new bill. The DL4All bill goes into effect on October 1st, 2023. Additionally, all organizations will have readily available information and resource brochures to take home.
